Who We Are & What We Do
Celestial Motherhood & Baby Boutique (otherwise known as “CMBB”) services focus on teen pregnant girls or single pregnant women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, who are looking for physical, emotional, mental, and/or spiritual support- or a combination of all these aspects- while on their pregnancy journey to get them prepared to welcome the arrival of their newborn baby.
Our women range from 12-40 years old, from multiple ethnic backgrounds and different socioeconomic environments. We serve pregnant women who are 6 weeks pregnant up to and including their delivery, and we also serve postpartum mothers with children up to the age of two years old. CMBB offers mental and emotional support in the form of support groups and education through classes on childbirth, Infant CPR, car seat safety, pregnancy nutrition/exercise and breastfeeding.

Once our newborn babies arrive, our new mothers can join short-term or long-term support groups with other postpartum mothers as we adjust our mindset and adapt physically and emotionally to the new role of being a mother. Postpartum mothers can also attend classes on nutrition/exercise for the postpartum woman, breastfeeding, and receive referrals to our lactation consultants/doulas should they need more individualized support in breastfeeding their baby. Individual consultations are also offered to both our expectant and postpartum mothers that are seeking education and/or support in a one-on-one environment.
To further prepare our expectant mothers for the arrival of their newborn babies, for each class a pregnant or postpartum woman attends, she earns “baby bucks” to shop in our “Celestial Motherhood & Baby Boutique”. Here she can redeem her “baby buck” dollars for a variety of baby and motherhood essentials, ranging from baby clothes and baby bottles to baby toys, books, and strollers. Our expectant mothers can also cash in the “baby bucks” from their education learned to keep preparing themselves for their newborn’s arrival. Both pregnant women and postpartum mothers are welcome to shop in our boutique with their points, as our baby clothing and toys range from infancy up through age 2 years old.
So, taking educational classes not only equips our pregnant women with knowledge and information to prepare themselves to be the best mother they can be: but it also incentivizes our women to take these classes to help them get physically prepared for their little one with the baby clothing and other baby essentials they will need when they welcome their newborn home.
Additionally, as pregnancy can be unplanned and a welcomed surprise, we know that our teenage clients or single pregnant women may not be medically prepared for the news that they are newly pregnant. In an effort to help them physically prepare for their pregnancy, we offer our expectant mothers free HIV & STD testing, urinalysis, and blood titers (tests to check for immunity against childhood illnesses in the pregnant woman) at no to low cost for all our clients.
